Duties:

  • Assist lender in deploying loan funds by learning and gaining understanding of processes, procedures and legal requirements.
  • Assist relationship manager in allocating tax credits into transactions by learning and gaining understanding of processes, procedures and legal requirements.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree with significant course work in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other analytical fields.  Course work in business law preferred but not required.
  • Graduate degree or a JD preferred but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Aptitude for interpreting and communicating legal or technical writing.
  • Display strong analytical skills, including the ability to gather information, conduct analyses, and present findings
  • Solid organizational and follow-through skills, performing work accurately with strong attention to detail

Chief Retail Banking Officer- Full Time

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the management, supervision, and direction of the retail/consumer products and services division for the purpose of growing loans and deposits, increasing fee income, and controlling expenses.
  • Oversight of insurance/investment division and marketing division for the purpose of increasing profitability to the bank

Education:

Previous Experience:          

  • The successful candidate must have 7-10 years of experience in progressively responsible management positions
  • The successful candidate will have retail banking experience in a growth environment at a peer or larger financial institution including demonstrated product and delivery knowledge  
  • Proven experience in managing multiple business units
  • Military training/background desirable
  • Recent experience working closely with regulatory agencies preferred
  • The successful candidate will understand and appreciate the unique qualities and institutional characteristics of a traditional community bank
