How can I access my account if the bank is closed?

How United Bank is Creating a Safer Banking Experience

How are you creating a safe experience for your customers and employees when you transition away from appointment only service on May 18th?

Thank you for your patience over the past few weeks as we’ve worked hard to meet your banking needs while also supporting the statewide stay-at-home order. We are pleased to announce expanded branch lobby access Monday, May 18 with limitations on capacity and modified hours, as we continue to follow CDC social distancing guidelines. We are taking the following measures to safeguard our customers and employees: 
 
  • Advanced cleaning and disinfecting procedures are in place and our employees will be wearing masks. 
  • Customers are required to wear masks to enter the lobby. Hand sanitizer will be available to lobby customers. If you don't feel comfortable wearing a mask, the drive thru is available for your banking needs. 
  • The first hour of lobby hours each day will be reserved for seniors and high-risk individuals. 
  • We still encourage customers to use drive-through banking, mobile banking, online banking, mobile deposit and ATM banking whenever possible. 
  • We will have designated teller windows & service desks available with protective barriers in place. 

 

 

How are you keeping your branches free of the virus?

As a standard practice, we are always mindful of the health and well-being of our customers, employees, and community members and take precautionary measures to keep our facilities clean and well maintained. We are increasing these measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. All of our branches and offices are equipped with sanitation kits and we are using Lysol wipes to clean all communal areas at regular intervals during the day. Hand sanitizer is available on all teller counters to lobby customers. 

FAQs

Are banks considered an essential service?

During the coronavirus pandemic you might hear the term essential service and question whether banks fall into this category.  Yes, the government has determined that banks are an essential service and are deemed to be exempt from the directive to close. 
 

Is United Bank being impacted?

We are closely monitoring the situation and are following the guidance and recommendations provided by the Centers for Disease Control, World Health Organization, and county public health departments.  Additionally, we have a robust Business Continuity Plan in place to ensure our service to our customers remains uninterrupted.
